Public Speaking Classes for Middle & High Schoolers

MicMomentum’s student public speaking program helps young 6th-9th graders build confidence, improve communication skills, and overcome stage fright. Through engaging activities and interactive lessons, students will learn speech writing, vocal delivery, body language, and persuasive speaking techniques to become effective and expressive speakers.

Public Speaking for 8th & 9th Graders

15 to 30 week online program with weekly interactive sessions designed to build confidence and foundational public speaking skills. Registration will close at max 20 students.

Date & Time: Tuesdays at 5:30-7 PM EST

Spring Semester: March 10th-June 16th, 2026

Fall Semester: Sept 1st- Dec 15th, 2026 (no class 10/6)

Skills Covered: Students will develop skills in structuring effective speeches, projecting their voice, using confident body language, and managing stage fright while actively engaging an audience. The program features personalized feedback, hands-on practice sessions, inspiring guest speakers, and a dynamic speech showcase competition.

Pricing: Tuition is $400 for one 15-week semester, or save with our $750 full program (30 weeks) when you enroll in both semesters at once.

Fall Semester: Sept 2nd- Dec 23rd, 2026 (no class 10/7, 11/11)

Skills Covered: This introductory public speaking class helps students build confidence as they learn to organize simple speeches, speak clearly, and use positive body language. Students will practice in a supportive setting, receive helpful feedback, hear from guest speakers, and finish the course with a fun showcase to share what they’ve learned.
